Because Sherman Beach is a St. Louis County Park,
the trash bags from the 2006 CITO were donated
by them. We put the trash in a specific location and
the park dept. picked it up later.
Didg-guy handed out some attendance prizes, but I
don't recall if he got them all from SLAGA funds,
or not.
The other CITO was coordinated by rockfish
in a city park. It was held the day after the
Sherman Beach CITO. The idea to hold two
different CITOs was that some SLAGA members
might be able to make one day at one location
and someothers on another day at a different
location.
A CITO in the St. Louis are is the type of event
is what SLAGA should be putting its organization
efforts into and using membership dues to provide
food and prizes. Non-profit organizations need
to spend their money!
