Groundspeak expects the owner to maintain their caches. Maintenance includes but limited to the maintaining integrity of the logs that are on the cache page. Deleting bogus logs are part of that maintenance.

You would be well within your rights to delete the logs with an explanation. The cacher will learn that it is expected he sign the log if he expects a find icon. One or two deleted logs they may get the idea. They are new and need to be shown the way. Be gentle and make a friend and they may become great cachers and a future SLAGA president OR (even better) a St. Charles lunch host. It is a lot of work but part of managing the cache.

Just my opinion

Arlene, the first time I deleted his log and then he came back stating that he had no pen. He did describe things correctly. I let him relog. He has 47 finds. Bernie
