-No -- you are in Illinois. That's an entirely different state .. DUH! LOL
My best friend lives in Edwardsville. She moved there from North County and ever since she has the "let's get everyone to move here" campaign going. We would consider it , but those attacking deer on the SIUE campus scare the heck out of us. It starts with the deer and it's only a matter of time before "it" moves to the people.
As for St. Charles.. well, since I still live and have no plans on leaving north county, I probably really don't understand St. Charlesigans and shouldn't comment lol. I could. I'd like to. But I could see that easily leading o ugliness and we've used up our ugliness quotient for the month of October.

- Hey what about us in the Edwardsville/Alton area? Aren't we Northeast? I like the fact that you can be going south on I-270 but your compass says east, and then without any turning you are suddenly going north on I-255, but your compass still says east. Try to give out-of-towners those directions. Laura 2_cats -----Original Message----- From: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bridget E. North = St. Charles East = "North" County West = Fenton South = Well, South County, of course Then there's southeast = Illinois Now, doesn't that make more sense? Why is it that there is not a highway that goes North - South? The highway 55 comes up north, then like dead ends or something. I think it takes a 90 degree turn to the east. Then you have 70 which ends up going West. You have 44 which goes Southwest. And 40, not sure what direction it is supposed to go. Go figure! "north"??? Hmmmmmmmmmmm LOL Oh wait .. that's right I'm really "east" that's what it is.
