Just a guess but it could be that it was attempting to send out his coords
location (one of the cool things about the Rino's) and was being picked up
by or interferring with something in the plane. 45 seconds isn't long enough
for my Rino 110 to lock in on the sats. Tell him to dissable this option and
turn off the radio feature and see what happens. If the page continues he
might ask if everything is alright in a very concerned voice just to see if
it's his GPSr that's causing the problem but then again after that he might
be labled a geo-terrorist, that wouldn't be good for any of us now would it.
