Send a letter to every Walmart in town, or that you are willing to drive to.
Ask them for a small donation for your organization. The key is to say small
donation. Explain your organization, what you need the donation for and then
list a date that you will be in to meet with the manager to get an answer.
Let no more than 2 weeks pass from the time you send the letter and the time
you enter the store. Ask for the manager and explain that you sent a letter
asking if they could help out your organization. They will respond with a
25.00 gift card.

Collect all gift cards and those make great door prizes. They do this for
scouts and they have a quota just like Vess that they must donate.

As you said, Krispy Kream also will donate. Out Winter rendezvous they are
donating 100 dozen. We have an insider on commissioner staff and that helps.

Garmin is one of my customers and I will be contacting them on behalf of
pntball to see what they can do. However, depending on how their network is
running at the time, this might be a bad thing.. :-)
