During the course of the day doing my day to day computer geocaching
stuff, I use lots of handy tools. Many of you have run across these
tools at one time or another as they are all out in public view. I
thought I would mention a few of the "available to the public" ones
here just in case some new folks haven't seen them yet.

For plotting a set of several waypoints on an aerial photo you can
import them into Expert GPS OR you can use one of the following FREE
tools.

The best of the lot is Bolters coord converter and mapper.

A neat feature is at the bottom of the page. *Drag this Bookmarklet
link to your tool bar and you have an instant mapper. Highlight a set
of coords, say from a cache page, press the bookmarklet on your toolbar
and it will place the coords on any number of 14 different maps and
then look up any number of things based on this waypoint. Handy.
I like the Google maps and the satellite hybrid views

*The GeocachingAdmin TerraServer Viewer
<http://www.geocachingadmin.com/maps/terra.php> is a re-work of the
same tool BUT if you mess around with the URL, you can find a very
interesting "Geocaching.com Quicklinks" page.
http://www.geocachingadmin.com/maps/terra.php

I use a version of the Quicklinks page as my everyday "Home Page". My
page has a few more reviewer specific buttons but all the good stuff is
here. Trim the above URL down to just the
http://www.geocachingadmin.com/ part and you are there.

and Marky's TerraServer Viewer <http://www.yvanovich.com/geocaching/>
http://www.yvanovich.com/terraserver/ This is the same as the above
mapper but in green. I dont use it. It is ugly green.

All are free tools for viewing the same maps and aerials. The free tools
can also view hi-res images in some urban areas.

A handy Coordanate tool is Geocaclc. It does all sorts of neat stuff
that might come in handy some day.
