-Jim i'm disappointed in you; you should've just picked it up and moved it out of your way. ;-)

- I don't have a cell phone so it would have been a very embarrassing yelling for help. And the adventures continued today. The first cache I tried to find and the first one I stopped looking for was Meramec Greenway Micro. I was looking a while and then took a look up. At ground zero there was a 20 foot long 1 foot in diameter log suspended in the air being held up by two small branches. And there was another dead tree leaning on it. Further investigation revealed a couple of other leaning dead trees. With the wind blowing and remembering the law of gravity, I decided it was not safe to cache there. The last one I attempted was Bench trench. I was looking around in the dead wood in the trench and noticed there was a copperhead about 2 inches from my fingers. Fortunately they are generally docile and my fingers where near the tail. So I decided to stop caching for the day. I went over and rode my bike across the new bike trail on the McKinley Bridge. It is really neat and a great place for some caches! But I had no bad luck there. Lesson learned: Don't go sticking your finger into places where it does not belong! Good thing you got it unstuck or that would have been a very embarrassing Phone-a-Friend. Last time I did that kind of thing I got stung by a wasp. PS: Any children reading this, the lesson includes your finger and your nose. Just laughing with you Jim. :-) Jim Bensman <junkmailno@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: - Here is my log from yesterday on GC16171 A GRANADA BISON Well this was interesting. There were some mugglers so I sat in my car listening to Prairie Home Companion and read the logs for the cache before I tried for it. That turned out helping and HURTING. After they get their car packed, I head over to the spot. I see something wrong and pull it out. I thought this was easy, but it was not the cache. So I pulled out its partner and it was not it either. Then I remembered the log entry that talked about small fingers. So I stuck my finger down where I pulled out the second one. AND MY FINGER GOT STUCK. That was not fun. But I finally got it out and it still hurts! While my finger was stuck, I remembered a comment in the logs and knew what I needed to do.
