With the driveway not being user friendly in snowy weather and it is pretty
much of a mix of sleet and snow ( approximately a foot of it) up this way.
I am not worried about it until next week. Who ever goes have fun with the
snow and sleet. Ed

Greetings SLAGA folks, sorry to pop in at the last minute, but I just
received a phone call from Chod regarding the "Slurpin' Soup and Watchin'
Eagles" event tomorrow. He's sitting on a patio in New Mexico, sipping on
a MaiTai and has been in contact with everyone involved in the event up at
the Blue Rose tomorrow. It sounds like the Blue Rose will be open
tomorrow, but Chod doesn't want to have anyone get themselves killed trying
to get to the event. That being said, he's ask me to pass on that, you can
either claim the event tomorrow (for those who don't know enough to stay
out of the snow) or you can wait and drive up next Saturday (January 19th)
when, hopefully, the weather will be cooperating a bit more than tomorrow.
That being said, be safe tomorrow if you do decide to head up, but for
those of us that are a bit more cautious, wait and head up on the 19th for
some soup and eagle watching.
