I would volunteer but I do not live in St. Peters. If they can look past
that, put me down.. I think Susan did have someone else who said they would
but they live outside of St. Peters as well. Heck, it's just down the street
from me..

Last I heard Susan did not have any takers to help out.

Come on people isn't there someone that lives in St.Peters that can take
care of this. Susan has worked really hard to get to this point and it would
be a sad day in Geocaching history to loose another city to cache in because
someone won't step up and help.

From my understanding about the only thing that you would need to do is go
out and check new caches before they are submitted to Geocaching.com. You
would work with the ranger to let them know where the cache is hidden and
what kind of container it is. If you like FTF this would give you all of
them in St.Peters.

Susan if I have something wrong please correct me.

Thanks
Tim

Hi Everybody
I have good new/bad news.

The bad news is pretty common knowledge: I'm moving to Columbia for 2 years
and can't continue working with the city on geocaching. I'll be out of here
in a month.

Good new is I just heard from a Ranger named Wes and he said that he is
replacing the other guy as my contact. This is really good news because the
first guy was not the greatest contact, probably more of a liability to the
geocaching program than as asset. This new guy has already done more than
the old guy just by getting himself an account at GC.com, and by sounding
enthusiastic in the email.

We really need somebody to step up and take my place so we don't waste this
stroke of good fortune. We've made good progress here and I hate to see it
slip . Any takers out there? I'll be setting up at least one meeting with
Wes before I leave. It would be nice to bring someone along with me. A
Saint Peters resident would be best but I may talk to him about the
possiblity of someone from elsewhere in St Charles county filling in until
we can find a St Peters person.

It's another chance to look good, as RGS might say.

Thanks,
Susan
