Jerry2524 and I and our spouses went to Raleigh last year and drove a good sized portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We hit 3 of the visitor centers for the Smokey Mountains Park and also stopped at Chimney Rock which has two caches. It's a wonderful area to visit. BBD1, Jerry2524 and I went to Nashville last weekend for the adventures maze and came across your log for a fast food cache near Kentucky Dam. Sorry we missed you. Well I can tell you this: Barb and I just came back from a week long motorcycle ride around the Smokey Mountains including the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tail of the Dragon and many other scenic roads in the area. We had fun geocaching from the motorcycles in nice 75-85 degree weather. (Some places above 6,000 feet were nippy) Ok, we did trailer them out there to Gatliinburg. At the end of the day yesterday, we had put on almost 1,200 miiles of riding and caching. I highly recommend you put the Smokeys on your bucket list. Now I have to log all those caches in.
