But when you think about it, the "10 people finding a cache in the first 24 hours" days only lasted a few years. When I first started caching in early 2005 it didn't seem like people were nearly as cache rabid, in Dayton anyway.
My caching has definitely slowed. I no longer spend entire days driving around just finding caches. I once had a goal of finding all the caches within 10 miles of my home coords. I got to within 4 caches. Then I went to St. Louis for school, gas prices skyrocketed, and now there are 397 within 10 miles. Yeah. 397. But on the other hand, it means that all the caches are a lot closer now than they were 2 years ago!

Ive not only noticed slower FTF and newcache finds in general but overall caching seems to have slowed (much fewer notifications coming into my email

When you could put out a cache and within 24 hours you would have 10 people 
finding it... Now, with so many out, and gas prices, it is few and far
between logs on new caches...
