I am considering putting on some classes here in Cape Girardeau. I have done
a few programs for the Boy Scouts in the area and will consider opening it
up to the general public. There seems to be several new cachers in this area
and I assume they would attend.

1) I believe that you can still log onto an archived cache page. Normally,
logging a new find on an archived page is a bit of "poor form" but in your
log explain that it is a late log by a new cacher and I believe the cache
owners will understand.

IF you are unable to make a log on an archived page, let me know. I know
some folks that can un-archive it for a short time to let you log them and
then then re-archive it.

2) I dont know of any organized activity in the south east. There IS going
to be a geocaching 101 in the Springfield area soon.. see the "OMG- 101
cache event.

Maybe Dru could get something together down that way.
