A friend of mine that has recently started geocaching was all excited about
placing his first cache. He called it "Pirates Cache" down in the Strawberry
Creek area and as part of the loot he had placed 12 foreign pieces of paper
money from South America and around the world, with the request for finders to
"Please take only one". After the first 5 finds on his cache he went out to
check on it and all of the paper money was gone. He told me that he guessed he
should have known that it was too tempting to take just one as he had
instructed on his cache page, a very good way to look at it but disappointing
just the same. It could have been one of the 5, it could have been one that
did not log the find, it could have been a non geocacher that found the cache
by accident, who knows who got the money. That just goes to show you that
there are pirates out there even in today's world.
