Since there has been recent interest in handheld computers and geocaching, I had thought about asking for volunteers to bring a handhelds to the picnic to demonstrate.
Rather than have a specific time for a demonstration, I was going to suggest that in addition to our names on our name tags, that we would indicate on our name tags specific things that we could share with other geocachers.
Specifically - my name tag might say..
"Ask Me About - Palm Computers, Spinner, Plucker"
RGS name tag might say - "Ask Me About - SLAGA web site"
BruceS - Ask Me About - "MapPoint"
Bear - Ask Me About "Missouri Invitational"
Rogbarn - Ask Me About "Benchmarks"
etc.
This hopefully would encourage conversation and networking amount the picnic guests.
