Without telling you the answer, consider the minimum number and maximum
number. Google numbers and letters and the minimum and maximum values and
see if something comes up. But if something looks wrong, perhaps it is and
adjust appropriately.
This approach may work for future codes as well.

Makes sense! I read some of the other logs and there were several that made
comments about things being backwards or not being able to figure out which
way was north. Thanks so much for the help! I have no idea how to solve
these puzzles so I am thrilled to have friends who can!
