Yes that is very odd.
Here is part of my Sunday log for 90th Meridian - it is not as odd as yours,
but it is the best I can think of:
After I found the cache and was off on the Nature Trail. I zoomed by and
noticed an ammo box and pack at the side of the trail-no one was in sight.
As I continued on it struck me this must be a new cache getting ready to be
placed. So I thought it would be great to be the FTF before it was placed.
So I turned back and when I got back I observed two gun cases next to the
ammo box. So I figured I should get out of there before they think I am
stealing their stuff instead of treasure hunting!
