I use a nuvi 750 and it's probably the same. I'd use your computer and copy your current.gpx file somewhere else before you delete them all, just in case you change your mind. Master reset / Hard Reset - turn the machine off. Hold your finger on the lower right hand corner of the screen. Turn the nuvi on - keep holding your finger there. The machine will ask you if you want to DELETE ALL USER data, including all favorites. I think Current.gpx is not the live favorites file, it is a copy of the file that is written every time your nuvi starts up. I think if you delete it you have not changed the master file, and current.gpx will be rebuilt or your next start up unless you use the nuvi menus to delete the favorites. Here are two sites that help me get more out of my nuvi: http://www.poi-factory.com/ http://home.comcast.net/~ghayman3/garmin.gps/page10.htm And on this page: http://home.comcast.net/~ghayman3/garmin.gps/page15.htm he writes: But, *AND THIS IS RARE*, you decide, for some reason, to delete *ALL* your Favorites through an *Edit > Delete Favorite(s) > Select All* -- *WARNING DON'T DO IT OR YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR FAVORITES* -- OR when you have to perform a Hard Reset which will wipe all User Data including your Favorites. I hope this helps. Owen On 8/10/2011 8:15 PM, Susie Nelson wrote: > Does anyone cache with a Nuvi 660? Somehow I downloaded cordinates as > favorites and would like to get them deleted.
