Certainly a big congrats are in order to the new / returning officers. No
doubt it will be another fine year for SLAGA. I wish I could have been at
the picnic but I am held hostage at the New York Times.. I will return on
Friday late night only to fly out again on Sunday Morning.
Hotel is reasonable at 499.00 a night with a room that views a building 4
feet away. The room is spacious enough that I can actually walk around the
bed to get to the door rather than climbing over it.
Food is excellent so next Friday's lunch will be at Carmine's on Broadway.
Just south of 92nd street. I will be there at noon. Hope to see you there!
Afterwards, we can cache in Central Park.

The election results are as follows:
President: Steve Bromley (javapgmr)
Vice-President: Jack Anderson (pandyandy)
Mike Maryan (The Mad Chef)
Secretary: Sarah Chisholm (crowesfeat30)
Treasurer: Jim Greene (Strider)
The nominees are in for the "SLAGA Best Of" awards and were
also announced and will be sent out in a ballot form later.

There's been some chatter, but not about the picnic.
I was wondering who our new SLAGA officers were? I know
Mike and I didn't make it, but I'm sure I'm not the only
one wondering out there. I know that whoever won the
elections will do a fine job.
An email blast hasn't been sent and it's not posted on the
website, should I look someplace else and haven't?
