Unfortunately, you are tied to SBC or Charter. Even if you request a 
different provider for your DSL, you will still be at the same CoLo on 
the same DSLAM With Cable, you would get a better speed but no dial up 
access. I use netzero when I need a dialup connection. Although, these 
days, there are so many WIFI hotspots, I just hook up there.
