Even if no one takes them right away, you can pull them up, stick them in a bucket and they'll last for a long time. I have irises and a couple of lilies I did this with two years ago and they are fine in the container. I've slowly been adding them back into our yard and they're going strong. Anybody want some orange daylilies? I offered these on freecycle, and have already had one taker and several more who are planning to come get some, but I thought I might as well offer them here too. I'm hoping to eventually have a landscaping company come totally re-do my yard, and the orange daylilies will all be destroyed in the process. So if anyone wants any, let me know. Laura/purple Here is what I posted on freecycle: I have LOTS of orange daylilies. You may dig and take as much as you would like. I live in Sunset Hills (not far from the intersection of Hwy 270 & Hwy 44). If you are interested, contact me so we can make arrangements.
