Even easier than taking them somewhere to donate them, join a web-
based group called Freecycle.org. Members post items to give away,
others respond via email and they make arrangements for pick-up.
Easy and free. With over 8000 members in St. Louis and even smaller,
more localized groups to join (Florissant, St. Charles county,
Maryland Heights, etc.) I'm sure you will find a taker easily.

Seriously though, if nobody else wants them, you can donate them to any one
of the local book fairs. I forgot where you live, Laura, but there's the
big West County fair, the YMCA's all have collection buckets for their fair,
and all the St. Charles County libraries take donations. I think they like
those special interest magazines.

- Put them in a waterproof container and post the coordinates. You'll probably end up with more stuff than you put out.
