[GeoStL] NGR- Laptop Pros and Cons

Hello everybody! I need some advice. I'm in the market for a laptop for
school. I am looking for a basic unit. I don't need all the bells and
whistles but have no clue where to start. Does anyone have one and do you like
it or not? If you have some advice for me, please email me off list.
I don't want to spend over $500. I don't mind buying a used one either so
give me some input if you have one. I would greatly appreciate it. Have a
