A friend of mine is taking a job as a long distance OTR truck driver and was
looking into getting a laptop and getting a mobile internet connection. I told
him about some of the WI-FI providers like Pannera Bread. He said that chains
of truck stops have fee/hour based systems too.

I remember seeing an ad somewhere about a card you put in the pmcia slot and
it gets you internet via a connection like a cell phone. Does anyone know
about this and what company does it? Does anyone know of other good ways of
getting on-line while on the road?

Thanks in advance for the help!!!
