-Vista has a "lock" option along with shutdown and restart. I assume it has a password to "unlock" it.
The firewall Zone Alarm has settings for usage on the internet and I think the Linksys routers have settings too. I've never used them though since I sure don't want to lock myself out :-)
Like Glenn said, Zone Alarm puts an icon in the tool tray where you can just rt. click to disable or enable the internet connection.

-For a long time I was running "Network Magic" on the PC. It would map out all the devices on the network nicely. Every now and then i would just click the "disconnect this device" button and cut off other computers. It was like a mystery why the internet would come and go. "Hea it must be a computer thing, I'll fix it later". They never did figure out what was going on.I have seen software that can limit the time connected and control where the computer surfs to. Always thought that I should remember what it was as it looked handy. I always forgot anyway. There are solutions ya just ned to find them when ya need them.Network Magic is cool for all sorts of stuff. There is a free version. What I'm looking to do is limit internet times. I have AT&T DSL it feeds through a router? to the 2 PC's and 4 wireless devices. I will need to control 1 pc and several wireless connections, Do they make something I can get to limit indivual connections without having to pull wires and such. Do I already have something in windows vista to help me here? Do they make some kind of cool software where I can sit at my PC and dole this out? Any help at all?
