- Jim, Thanks a lot!! I had already turned off ZoneAlarm for checking my email as it mentioned, but continuing to read what you sent my problem had to do with AVG. I made the changes the page suggested and finally got my email to work! Thanks to all who sent suggestions. Thanks Again, Jen >From: James Shilt <webscouter@xxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: [GeoStL] Re: NGR - Computer Help Please >Date: Tue, 04 Apr 2006 03:36:48 -0500 >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from turing.freelists.org ([206.53.239.180]) by >bay0-mc2-f5.bay0.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.1830); Tue, 4 >Apr 2006 01:39:02 -0700 >Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1])by turing.freelists.org >(Avenir Technologies Mail Multiplex) with ESMTP id 81A4D2C93D5;Tue, 4 Apr >2006 04:37:02 -0400 (EDT) >Received: from turing.freelists.org ([127.0.0.1])by localhost (turing >[127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024)with ESMTP id 28241-02; Tue, 4 Apr >2006 04:37:02 -0400 (EDT) >Received: from turing (localhost [127.0.0.1])by turing.freelists.org >(Avenir Technologies Mail Multiplex) with ESMTP id F340D2C9D9F;Tue, 4 Apr >2006 04:37:01 -0400 (EDT) >Received: with ECARTIS (v1.0.0; list geocaching); Tue, 04 Apr 2006 04:37:01 >-0400 (EDT) >Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1])by turing.freelists.org >(Avenir Technologies Mail Multiplex) with ESMTP id 89C8D2C9D73for ><geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Tue, 4 Apr 2006 04:37:01 -0400 (EDT) >Received: from turing.freelists.org ([127.0.0.1])by localhost (turing >[127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024)with ESMTP id 28234-03 for ><geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>;Tue, 4 Apr 2006 04:37:01 -0400 (EDT) >Received: from ms-smtp-04.rdc-kc.rr.com (ms-smtp-04.rdc-kc.rr.com >[24.94.166.116])by turing.freelists.org (Avenir Technologies Mail >Multiplex) with ESMTP id 4602F2C9E8Cfor <geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Tue, 4 >Apr 2006 04:37:01 -0400 (EDT) >Received: from [127.0.0.1] (CPE-65-30-54-69.kc.res.rr.com [65.30.54.69])by >ms-smtp-04.rdc-kc.rr.com (8.13.4/8.13.4) with ESMTP id k348aqKI025976for ><geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Tue, 4 Apr 2006 03:36:58 -0500 (CDT) >X-Message-Info: EoYTbT2lH2MA4Sbwb8N1Kg1BH752XPoMAkvVSvjDy9Q= >X-Original-To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Delivered-To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >User-Agent: Thunderbird 1.4 (Windows/20050908) >References: <BAY107-F35C6FE76DADEEEEE3474349FCA0@xxxxxxx> >X-Virus-Scanned: Symantec AntiVirus Scan Engine >X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new-20030616-p9 (Debian) at avenirtech.net >X-archive-position: 24128 >X-ecartis-version: Ecartis v1.0.0 >Errors-To: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >X-original-sender: webscouter@xxxxxxxxx >Precedence: normal >List-help: <http://www.geostl.com/mambo/content/view/60/86/> >List-unsubscribe: ><mailto:geocaching-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=unsubscribe> >List-software: Ecartis version 1.0.0 >List-Id: Email List used by SLAGA <geocaching.freelists.org> >X-List-ID: Email List used by SLAGA <geocaching.freelists.org> >List-subscribe: <mailto:geocaching-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=subscribe> >List-owner: <mailto:glnash@xxxxxxxxxx> >List-post: <mailto:geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> >List-archive: <//www.freelists.org/archives/geocaching/> >X-list: geocaching >X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new-20030616-p9 (Debian) at avenirtech.net >Return-Path: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 04 Apr 2006 08:39:03.0181 (UTC) >FILETIME=[3A1C4BD0:01C657C3] > >- > >Hi Jen, > >Do you have ZoneAlarm installed? > >If so you need to set up the firewall to accept century tel input. > >This is the best description of how to set it up that I have seen. >http://forums.pcworld.co.nz/archive/index.php/t-54958.html[1] > >Jim > > >Jen **** wrote: - Yes, Century tel is my provider.
