On the Input tab of GpsGate you should have Garmin USB selected.  Then Click 
Open to open to open the USB port.  On your 60CSx you should go to 
Setup-->Interface and select Garmin as the Serial Data Format.  You can also 
try NMEA here.  Both will work but start with Garmin.

At this point you should have a Green GpsGate Icon in the tray.  If you don't, 
turn off your 60CSx and right click the GpsGate Icon in the tray and select 
exit.

Start up GpsGate and turn on your 60CSx.  You should have a Green GpsGate Icon 
in the tray.

On the input tab the Garmin USB will be grayed out when the port is open and 
the Open button will change to a Close button.

On the Output tab Add a Virtual COM Port.  Use that com port as input for 
Streets and Trips.
