(Not Caching Related) - MDC needs volunteers to help with live trapping for a
rabbit population study at Columbia Bottom Conservation Area. That's in North
St. Louis County for those of you who haven't cached there yet. The study is
ongoing for the next two weeks and they need as much help as they can get.
There are two sessions per day, one at 8am to check the traps, the second at
4pm to set & bait the traps. Both session last about 3 hours but would go
quicker with more people. The hardest part is bushwhacking through the fields,
but that's not a problem for geocachers. If anyone is interested in helping
with any shift, please send me a private email (ldowers@xxxxxxxxxxx) and I'll
be in contact to get you more information and help you sign up. No experience
necessary just a desire to help and maybe the chance to hold a live wild bunny.

Thanks,
Lena Dowers (brantole)
