Mulberry Grove? Whoa. That is a long way and in our opposite direction.

Have you guys ever looked at the campground that is right in Effingham?
It's about 2 miles and a straight shot from my house. It looks more like a
place to stop for a couple of days and maybe not so much a destination for
families to hang out for a week's vacation. (Well, in my mind it's not a
destination, but I can't think of any reason why anyone WOULD really want to
be here ;+) . I think the sites are a little close and there's a powercut
running through the middle of the grounds, BUT it seems to be very well
maintained, the people are friendly and it appears to cater to the larger
rigs. It always looks like that's all there are there. Our little vintage
camper would be swallowed up by most of the trailers we've seen there.
There's a little lake and has a bit of a woodsy feel, but easy to get to
without being right next to the highway. Also, I don't think there are a
lot of seasonal sites.

There's another campground at the "local" lake a bit west of town on Lake
Sara. We've driven through there a few times and ra and kept right on
driving.
