When my son left to go to college 12 years ago his cat adopted me as it's
owner. She was 4 years old then and she is still with me. Funny, she won't go
sit on my wife's lap at all, only her cat will sit there and her cat rarely
sits on my lap although she will come over for a good scratch now and then.

My daughter would be happy to dog-sit any animal while at MOGA. She would
rather play with the animals than go caching. (I think she was switched at
birth). She wants to bring our cats but I don't think that indoor cats and
nature are a good mix.

I know if something happens to the cats, I'd be crushed. I'm counting on my
daughter moving out and we've already argued about who keeps the cats. ;-)

We'll keep you guys in prayer. I know it sounds funny, but those darn

animals get to be really special to us!

We just had to give up our husky Alpha who some of you have met. He was very

friendly, but you couldn't take anything from him or he'd bite. Bit Dayna

last summer and my son Aaron a month ago. We took him to a trainer who after

working with him recommended we get rid of him due to the dominant behavior.

The breeder we bought him from took him back and is going to be breeding

him. Lucky dog! :-) We all cried like babies when we gave him up. I got to

see him for a few minutes today though and he seems to be doing well.

We now have a 4-5 month old yellow (almost fox red) labrador. I haven't

decided wether or not to bring him to MOGA, but i'm leaning towards it.
