- Greg, How much hiking did you do to get to the falls? Judging from my map of the area, it looks like there's a 'Lookout Tower' with a picnic area approx 1.5 mi east of the cache. Did you park somewhere in that area and hike in, or....? I would have thought even the driving into that area would have been an adventure.(?) Dunno why you think you need a new camera. Those pics are great. There's certainly enough detail captured there that if you wanted to punch 'em up a bit, you could easily do that in Photoshop....or even Photoshop 'Elements' . -= Russ =- -----Original Message----- From: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Greg Ponder Sent: Sunday, February 01, 2004 20:13 To: slaga Subject: [GeoStL] Mina Sauk Hello, everyone, After planting a cache today, I headed to Taum Sauk for a little caching. I picked up Myotis' Highest Cache and then headed to Mina Sauk. I was secretly hoping for...and got... Frozen Mina Sauk Falls! My pictures aren't great. I've gotta, gotta, gotta let go of the cash to upgrade to a nice digital camera. I thought maybe some of you might enjoy glancing at them. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=gc5e4 I'd planned to head down to the Devils Toll Gate, but after looking at my picture of the trail, I think you'll see why I didn't travel further. It was treacherous! Happy Super Bowl Sunday, Greg Ponder...The Hairy Hillbilly Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! SiteBuilder - Free web site building tool. Try it! --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
