<chuckle> Unless they flattened those hills or built a road going back in there, you will climb hills... Not too bad though, but they are in there... It use to be that you started off with a big climb and then it got hilly after that. Don't know anything about the new way in.. In any case, I know everyone will have a great time. Didg Guy, Jans03 and IBEW Retired are joining me tomorrow for Wet Feet. (Hopefully the river is low enough to cross!) We will also pick up the 3 in Ha Ha Tonka tomorrow as well. We have 30 planned for the day. We might get 10... :-) Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: Laurie Elfrank To: Newsgroup, Geocaching Sent: Monday, December 31, 2007 6:07 PM Subject: [GeoStL] Re: LaBarque Creek The site had a map along with other information. We plotted the map on Google Earth and have an excellent way in with the least amount of climbing. It looks like we can get to GCMN2W with hardly any climbing at all. From there we can go to GCMN2T with an elevation of approximately 120 feet. From there, we can walk to GCMN2X along the ridge and drop down to the cache. From there, we can take the valley back to the parking lot. No more than 2.65 miles round trip. Compared to the other parking lot entrance, this looks much easier.
