Greenville, Mo. in Wayne County will be having their
parade (with horses and tractors, 4 wheelers,
politicians, etc. this Saturday around 10am or so.
They have a picnic afterwards in their park (in town)
with plenty of food to eat, and there is usually a
watermelon eating contest, as well as other things
going on. Sometimes a gospel country band will play
(older gents), and in the past, they have had square
dancing and clogging under their pavalion. There is
usually a raffle for a Briggs & Stratton Engine. The
picnic is an all day event and goes well into the
evening. We usually go every year.
