Jim, did you read about the upgrade. It may have something to do with it.

Has anyone been able to get ExpertGPS to work today? It won't retrieve maps
from the internet for me. I get a message to check my internet connection,
or
reconfigure my firewall, but I haven't changed anything and my internet
works
fine. I am lost without it:) Let me know please.
