Rich,

As of right now I have Oct. 14 open and will mark it down for helping you for
that date. Tied up on the other two, sorry.

We have 3 more classes scheduled this fall for the St. Louis county parks, and
as before, we'll need some help.
Sept. 16th and Oct. 21st are the GPS classes with some simple existing signs as
WP's placed around the learning center. Help will be needed with the questions
and the outdoor portion. As before, the classes are held at the Learning Center
(Visitors Center) at Greensfelder County Park behind Six Flags. Class hours are
10AM to 2PM.

The Geocaching 101 class will be held on Oct. 14th from 10AM to 3PM. Caches of
different types and difficulty are placed around the Learning Center (Visitors
Center) at Greensfelder County Park behind Six Flags. Class hours are 10AM to
3PM.

As before, soda and water will be furnished for everyone. Fast food is
available about 2 miles away in Eureka or you can bring you own at eat at the
picnic tables.

We have already been asked to do the same programs for 2007 (2 GPS-101 classes
and 5 GPS classes), but we would like some commitments from other SLAGA members
who would do the actual PowerPoint presentations and take care of setting up
the classroom and cleaning everything up when it's over. We have first choice
for the dates for the classes and other groups that require the Learning Center
work around our dates. Once the dates are picked, they are put into their "Gone
Fishin'" and "Activity guides" for distribution, so we MUST put on the class.

Those that have helped out before realize it's a fun time and all the class
attendees seem to really enjoy themselves, nice weather or rain. If anyone
would like to redo or change the presentation or format, that would be fine.
Maybe they are getting stale and it time for a change?

Please let me know if you can help out on any of the 3 Saturdays in Sept. and
Oct., and/or would be interesting in handling any of the programs for next year.

Rich
