[GeoStL] Group cache question for the group

On the group cache page, under "what to bring", it says the usual caching
stuff. Since this is my first all day, out of town trip, what exactly would
that be? I can figure out the basics-GPS(!), sunscreen, good walking shoes,
water bottle, snacks (I never go ANYWHERE without snacks). But are there
things that newbies don't usually think of that would make the day go smoothly?
I'd appreciate suggestions.
