- Merit Badge Counselors are registered with the Local Council. They can Help any Scout in the council. Another council would not recognize them am as a counselor. Some counselors when registering opt to just take care of Scouts in their troop. If they did sign a card for a Scout outside their troop it would be OK but they are not listed on the MB Counselor list. mikeinmo -----Original Message----- From: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of ZLA Solutions Sent: Monday, May 24, 2010 4:01 PM To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [GeoStL] Re: Geocaching Merit Badge Assistance - Hi Mike. Can counselors help any scout or are they assigned to particular troops? Can you put out a post when you get your confirmation so I can try to connect you with my classmate?
