- Remember, less than 3 weeks until our next geocaching 101 class at Greensfelder. Class is scheduled for Saturday Oct 15, from 10AM until 3PM. See the event page at http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?WP=gcmhdc for details As before, if you are new at caching and want some tips or even wondering about some features of your new GPS, call the St. Louis County Parks number on the event page link above and sign up for the class. If anyone has a friend, neighbor, or someone from work that might be interested in GPS's or geocaching, have them sign up too. It's $10 well spent for a day of classroom fun and locating the outdoor treasures. Volunteers are always needed and appreciated to help out, and of course do not need to register with the county parks or pay the $10 fee. Bottled water and soda will be provided for everyone. There are now 18 permanent caches within Greensfelder and Rockwood's Range, or within 2 miles of the learning center.
