- Well, I never played with big time explosives but my kids do enjoy watching me blow a soda can about 75-100 feet in the air using just a fire cracker, water, and another can. Really amazes small kids and it's "legal". Did I mention really cheap. I uesed to make mini explosives using glass test tubes filled with matches pointed down and sealed it then placed it over a burner and got away quick. It would blow glass all over the place when the matches lit.
