www.GeoStL.com is officially up - but still under construction.
We have 125 MB storage and 2 GB of transfer per month.
Currently using about 3 MB.
I would still like to create some buttons for some of the links.
Comments?
Additions?
Deletions?
Ideas?
If anyone has talents that they can use to update, share, input, modify
anything on the site - speak up.
I am specifically looking for volunteers for the following:
Update local cache page as new caches are added
Update photo albums - also if you have any personal or group cache photos
that you have taken that you would like to share - email them to me
Start and maintain a member list - with geocacher's name and email address
only (most people did not want their phone numbers or address listed)
Update and maintain the links page
Modify the survey and create live survey results page
Create SLAGA graphics for webpage and for links to place on other pages
Figure out how the chat room works
I think I roped Glen into writing an intro to anyone new that arrives at the
site.
Since Glen has been doing a great job with the photograph albums - we might
ask him to continue.
Here is an offer to you cache page "hackers".
If you want to change the background image on your cache page - (similar to
mine and konopapw - see North Passage cache) - the new site can store the
images for you.
Find a suitable graphic and store it on the new site.
Edit your cache page to reference the file and thats it.
Email me if you want instructions to do this.
The page is for us all to enjoy and I appreciate your comments and/or
suggestions.
