In St. Louis, they would have to update the maps daily to keep up with
construction. :-)
I'm originally from Chicago where we have 2 seasons, Winter and
Construction. :-O

I use my 60CS for driving and caching. I'm not terribly pleased with
it on the road, but it works okay, especially if I know the route
already and just want guidance. (i.e. which highway exit am I supposed
to take?) My biggest complaint is that the beeps telling my that I'm
supposed to turn are 1) too quiet and 2) often too late. Second to
that is that it takes WAY too long to calculate, especially when I
pass the first prescribed turn during the calculation phase which is a
frequent issue when driving city blocks. Third complaint is that I
can't pull up a destination by address (Please correct me if I'm wrong
about this last one.)
Fourth, and this is hardly the unit's fault, but it keeps trying to
route me onto Hwy 40 where it's closed. I wish they had a St. Louis
Construction version of the maps.
Do the units designed for driving do better with route calculation?
I'm hoping they have faster processors and/or more RAM.
