While in Oklahoma, Bridget and me found some remains of a cache. We never
found it but when I posted my note about finding the baggies, A chewed up
planner, and a couple of beer cans and a pencil in the hollow tree, the
owner said he would check it this weekend. If it is really gone, he would
appreciate me changing my log to a find because he wants more people to come
out in the country to look for caches. He felt that a note stating it was
gone would discourage people even after he replaces it.

Cases like this, I have no problem logging a find. For the most part, I
leave it up to the owner to give me the direction.

BTW - We still enjoyed the cache location even if we DNF'ed it.
