I will say that there may be a time when signing the log may be a gray area.
The one that hits closest to home for me is my son. We cache together, and
there were very few that I did without him. He did not want to have a cacher
name of his own at first, but later he decided he did.

I said it would be OK to log the ones we found together, and he went back
andnoted in the find log what he was doing. And most of in most of my logs,
Iindicated that he was along anyway. So it was pretty much documented, but
hedid not physically sign the logs.

Mike Griffin wrote: - Doesn't matter to me... Why not sign the log if you
have been there? Think about it, you go out to find a cache and then when
youget there, you just look at it and don't apply ink to paper? What purpose
would that serve? I could understand someone who doesn't log them online.
Besides it being a violation of the few rule groundspeak has for loggin
caches, it appears that this person found the cache under a different name
and just wants to stir up trouble.. An unverified user that gets their first
find ever and logs it, "Quick Find, TFTC," is not exactly a newbie. I
checked5 of my caches yesterday and not a single log entry in any of them..
Icould care less if he had been there or not. However, one of his logs says,
"Grabbing a few along the Katy Trail today" and the cache he listed that on
is very far from the Katy Trail because it is a puzzle. However, the page
coords show up to be close to the Katy Trail. HA! LIAR! I say delete away
anddon't look back! Mike Tired of Spam?? Here's your solution.. See:

used the GC.com "E-mail this user" feature, as I recall. You know, I could
easily describe a cache based upon logs that I have read. I say, you don't
sign the log, you don't get the find.. I made sure to ask questions that
could not be determined from the logs, such as the colors of the container.
Mine would have been rather difficult to guess. -Eta526 On 6/28/06, Brad

e-mailed the address that was listed on Geocaching.com and it bounced back,
