The application that I use on my iPad is the one designed by Geocaching.com
for the iPhone and iPad. If you have online service at the site it will send
the log to Geocaching.com. and record it immediately to the cache page. No
online service at the site, the log will be saved until you get out of the
woods or in a service area where it can be sent.
I personally love it!!

I have seen those kind of tags on email, but a log is entered on a web
page, and I don't think phones automatically put things on a web page.
How would it know where to put it? Or am I so behind the times that you
can use email to log things now?
