We got the Kyd a puppy for Christmas and he's been geocaching three times
already. We've kept him on either a 4 or 6 ft leash (I think 4 really works
better). He's about 14 pounds right now. He's only done a couple of
woodsy caches but seems to enjoy all the "new stuff". He's a
Chow-GoldenRetriever Mix and so far has enjoyed being outdoors with us --
plus we want to make sure and "socialize" him from early on -- what with
that Chow part being there.

Actually, 25% of the cachers we've met in real life have been dogs. Ok.
"A"dog. Although, we've managed to only meet 4 cachers in the flesh.

Here's a link to our puppy's most favorite cache so far. (BTW -- we cannot
believe no one logged this before us!!)
