[GeoStL] Does Geocaching Speed up or slow down in fall?

I have a silly question.

Seems like the summer heat, plus ticks and mosquitoes kept a lot of cachers out of the woods and finding fewer caches in the summer.

Now the weather is nicer, but the sun is going down sooner. There's less daylight to cache.

So, since I started caching in late March, I don't know about the seasonal flux, but do more people cache in the fall/spring than summer/winter? What season sees the most caching?

Just curious...
