Thanks everyone for the info. I'm keeping it handy. He's supposed to return
my call Friday morning.

I had used the info I found on the not-so-user-friendly conservation website
and that's why I came here to ask. Most of the info was incorrect, or
changed, changing or wrong. I found maps that didn't agree as to what area
Gasconade county is in -- even the people in the Sullivan and Columbia
regional offices were unsure. Previously our agents came from Sullivan.
Apparently now they don't.

I've also learned that different areas are maintained by different divisions
so it might depend on what the maintenance department wants. Example -- a
couple of the river accesses we're looking at are maintained by the
wildlife division and not the forestry or water management groups. So even
though the Forest Agent is over that area, someone from another division
does the maintenance.

I think I'm at least on the right track now, I just thought that if I could
give the agent in Linn the names of caches or other agents then he'd have
some point of reference too.

Thanks again.

Nancy
