I think the collectible feature is a way for geocachers to keep a list of their
coins they are keeping (not letting travel). If you mark the car tag as
collectible, you won't be able to dip your car tag when you log caches.  The
coins I have that I don't want to travel I mark as collectible so I can still
keep track of my coins.  Geocachers can still discover your collectible coins
if you show them off at an event but if dip the coin in caches, you don't want
to mark as collectible.

Hi, all...

I recently got and affixed a new vehicle travel bug decal and got it registered
just fine (TB4VP56). I noticed there's a check box for collectable preference.
Can someone explain the difference between collectable or not in this
application? Is there an advantage to having
it marked as collectable? Having it marked as not? Thanks!
