I had the same thing and the best thing I ever did was to have it
corrected with surgery. I've not had a sliver of a problem since.

I was busy ...and some things really are too easy ...

Oh, and personally, all summer on vacation I cached in Crocs -- even
comfortably doing a couple of 3 terrains in them.

I came late to the Croc craze and only put on a pair around June 1 of
this
year. I've not had them off since. They have wonderful traction and
even I
(who broke my leg walking across a lawn) had a lot of confidence walking
on
rocks and a variety of terrain. The problem came when my foot got wet
and
slippery and moved around inside the stationary shoe. Now THAT hurt!.
I
have plantar fasciaitis (sp?) and have had a variety of off-the-shelf
and
custom orthotics (of which the dog has eaten one of each -- I HATE that
dog), the Crocs don't seem to aggravate it without the inserts as much
as
most shoes do. I'm even looking forward to finding somewhere locally
that
sells the new fur-line Crocs for winter. Perhaps I'll have to check
Dicks.

I was beginning to think you were sleeping on the job.
