Jana,

Great to have you with us. A group hunt is just what it sounds like. Someone
picks a time and place to meet and posts it and others show up, from there they
will hunt a difficult (multipart) cache or hunt several normal caches depending
on the needs/wants of the group.

Super Slueth Apprentice and Super Slueth Detective are two multipart caches
that Brawny Bear has placed in the Weldon Springs area. They are both
"Subscriber only caches" which means you can't view the cache page unless you
have a paid memebership on geocaching.com ($3/month or $30/year). Because of
what is involved w/these two caches they will each have a day set aside for
them and there may be some other caches completed after each one is done is
some of the group members need to pick up some of the other caches in that area
still.

SS-Apprentice http://tinyurl.com/4wckt is on the calendar so to speak for
Monday Jan 17th (I wouldn't be surprised if there is another one sometime since
many people have to work this day but many are off for a holiday)

SS-Detecitve http://tinyurl.com/5jek7 is tentatively scheduled for Saturday
January 22nd

HI all

Newbie here! I've been reading and enjoying the posts, and am looking
forward to meeting up sometime!

However, I have no clue what the Apprentice/Detective thing is, and I'm not
sure where to find that info.

I'm assuming a "group hunt" is like a rally type thing?

Thanks!

Jana (chosenlass)
