With an adult along, a fit 5 yr. old can easily keep up...and even surpass
most adult's stamina. NickyRex, for example, started geocaching when he was
5 and he's up to 175 caches at 6 yrs old. Most of the time, I have to tell
him to slow down. Wet weather, snow, high heat, humidity - the little ones
can take it.

My 4 year old did the Whitecliff cache with us. With the added terrain
factor that it was POURING down rain for part of our hunt! So we slid down
one very muddy hill at one waypoint. :).

So on a dry day, I think it would be safe to say that a 5 year old could do
it!
