- With an adult along, a fit 5 yr. old can easily keep up...and even surpass most adult's stamina. NickyRex, for example, started geocaching when he was 5 and he's up to 175 caches at 6 yrs old. Most of the time, I have to tell him to slow down. Wet weather, snow, high heat, humidity - the little ones can take it.
